Kevin was selected as a finalist for the 2024 Alexander Zemlinsky Prize for Composition, becoming one of five composers worldwide chosen for the final round. His work, Solace, was performed by the Grammy Award–nominated Lincoln Trio on January 14, 2026, at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
